:: Kazakhstan – the country with a dynamic economic development According to experts, it is the developing markets that will demonstrate growth in the post-crisis period:
  • In 2009, the industrial growth was 107%, and decline in the processing industry is slowing down
  • In 2009, the GDP growth was 0.1%, in 2010 it will grow by 2.4%, and in 2011 by 3.9%
  • The Customs Union (Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus) will provide conditions for development of Kazakhstan’s own production and add to the Kazakhstani market’s attractiveness for foreign investors
  • A significant ratio of goods made domestically (in Kazakhstan) is seen in resources of most food products

  • The current packaging market capacity in Kazakhstan is about $250 million in monetary terms
  • Kazakhstani enterprises switch from raw paper materials to polymeric materials
  • Currently, Kazakhstani enterprises focus on production of more exquisite packaging
  • In the Kazakhstani product cost structure, the share of packaging is 3%
