Almaty to host WorldFood Kazakhstan’s 2014 edition between Nov 5 and 7

WorldFood Kazakhstan 2014, the 17th essay of the Central Asian international exhibition for the food industry, would be held at Atakent International Exhibition Centre, Almaty, between November 5 and 7, 2014.

The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) has been taking several initiatives to strengthen India's international economic relations. As a part of these, the Chamber would have an India Pavilion at WorldFood Kazakhstan 2014.

There would be 40 Indian exhibitors from the food and agricultural sectors showcasing their offerings.

The objective of setting up the India Pavilion at the show was to strengthen the international market for Indian agricultural and food products, so as to increase the exports of the same in the markets of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

WorldFood Kazakhstan is an exhibition dedicated to the food and beverage and food technology sectors. It provides domestic and international companies a platform to showcase their products to the Kazakhstan market.

The event has proved an effective forum for promoting new products, discovering more about the local market and meeting professionals within the industry, including producers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers and restaurateurs.

For two days, food suppliers and retail chain representatives and food distributors of Kazakhstan would have opportunities to meet. This would be arranged within the show's framework.

In 2013, the event witnessed the participation of 371 exhibitors and attracted 5,339 visitors and 371. Companies representing 35 countries participated in it.
