Kazakhstan Agriculture's contribution to the GDP increased approximately by 2%
Kazakh-Zerno News:Agricultural gross output of products (services) amounted to 139.7 billion KZT tenge for the first two months in Kazakhstan current year.
According to Statistics Agency of RK, it is 1.9% higher than in the corresponding period of the previous year.
The increase is due to the growth of all types of meat production by 1.7%, cow's milk by 2.1% and chicken eggs by 9.2%, the correspondent of IA "Kazakh-Zerno" said.
Growth in agricultural production over the period compared with January-February 2013 occurred in 11 regions of our Republic.
Growth in agricultural production of Almaty region is due to increased production of eggs by 27.6%, all types of meat - by 11.8%.
In West Kazakhstan region production of chicken eggs increased by 16.2%, all types of meat - by 5.2%.
In the East Kazakhstan region the growth in agricultural output was due to increased production of eggs by 19%, all types of meat - by 5.1% and cow's milk - 3%.
