In 2012, the renowned expo brand “WorldFood Kazakhstan” marks its 15th jubilee.

On 6-9 November 2012, Almaty will see food industry professionals from both all over Kazakhstan and more than 30 countries of the world coming to take part in the annual WorldFood Kazakhstan Exhibition. The event is once again going to demonstrate new technologies and achievements in the field of foodstuffs, ingredients, and packaging production. The exhibition is organised by Iteca Kazakhstan Exhibition Company jointly with its international partners from the United Kingdom, Russia, Germany, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and China.

Both domestic production novelties and international trends will be widely represented at WorldFood Kazakhstan 2012. It should be noted that this year’s event will for the first time ever accommodate 9 National Groups from Hungary, Germany, Georgia, the Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, Singapore, the Czech Republic, and the Baltic nations. This jubilee exhibition will feature a new section, Bread Baking. Traditionally, the exhibition will incorporate various contests, tasting competitions, workshops and roundtables on topical issues, which testifies to the high professional level of the event.

“As early as now we can say that 70% of the WorldFood Kazakhstan 2012 planned exhibition area has been booked. Judging by the booking activities with regard to the exhibition area in Pavilion 11 all of it is going to be sold out soon. We hope very much that in this case we will accommodate all those willing to exhibit in another pavilion,” says Tatiana Shaposhnikova, Iteca’s Project Director.

“Being the most well-known business platform to discuss food industry issues and outlooks, the exhibition provides excellent opportunities to search for new partners and promotes the strengthening of cooperation between countries. Polish companies taking part in the event are ready to offer their Kazakhstan counterparts novelties in terms of high-quality goods, services and technologies for food industry certified in accordance with the most stringent international requirements and consider mutually beneficial options for cooperation,” says Andrzej Stefański, Counsellor, Head of the Trade and Investment Promotion Section of the Polish Embassy.

This annual forum is the largest one in the Central Asian countries and is famous for its interesting programme. This year’s exhibition will traditionally see the Best Product of WorldFood Kazakhstan 2012 Professional Food & Drinks Tasting Competition, workshops, open master classes, and roundtables on topical issues facing the industry.
