WorldFood Kazakhstan 2017 expands potential of domestic production in international trade

WorldFood Kazakhstan exhibition expands its assortment of food products and drinks on the shelves of domestic stores, offering ready products from manufacturers in more than 30 countries to Kazakhstani importers, as well as advanced technologies and modernization means of domestic food production, which is an impulse not only to development and expansion of sales markets for domestic producers, but also a reason for establishment of joint ventures and establishment of a process of international trade. The exhibition will traditionally take place in Almaty in Exhibition Complex “Atakent” on November 1-3, 2017.

History of exhibition begins from 1998. At that time, it was compared to a fair where only food and drinks were presented - goods for intermediaries. Today WorldFood Kazakhstan is an authoritative platform on which the whole cycle of industry is presented: from production to realization.

Effectiveness of WorldFood Kazakhstan site is annually confirmed by increasing interest to the event from international export organizations and responsible agencies that choose WorldFood Kazakhstan site, seeing event potential for developing economic relations with RK, and form expositions of national suppliers. Production and equipment for domestic food industry will be presented this year by producers within national groups of 13 countries of Western and Eastern Europe, Southeast, South and East Asia, CIS and Central Asia: Hungary, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, China, Korea , Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Sri Lanka.

In addition this year a record number of companies from South Korea and India is recorded. For example, Indian potential of trade partnership will be represented by 33 companies exporting tea, spices, groceries, packaging, including Tea house of India and Chamber of Spice Suppliers of India.

Domestic producers of food products and drinks will be able to find advanced solutions in the field of equipment production for their own production, as well as improvement of ingredient composition of products. At the stands of such companies as Technology Plus, Scorpio Aroma, ETC, Asar Ltd and many others, a wide range of flavor and aromatic compositions and functional additives for all industries will be offered.

According to statistics, annual number of exhibition visitors exceeds 5 thousand people. At WorldFood Kazakhstan exhibition, specialists can realize set business objectives for both short-term and long-term prospects: to find suppliers and partners, to carry out purchase according to results of exhibition work, and also to get acquainted with novelties of finished products, ingredients and equipment of food industry market.

The program will cover such topics as trends and potential of fruit and vegetable industry in Kazakhstan, opportunities for products export, work with retailers, as well as world experience of business conduction.

Within the framework of WorldFoodKazakhstan exhibition, annual independent tasting competition "Best Product" was traditionally held in accordance with general quality and safety requirements for food products in the territory of Republic of Kazakhstan. Tasting competition selected the best products, and awarded them with awards - gold medals of quality "Best Product of WorldFoodKazakhstan 2017". Winners' awards are a sign of quality for consumers and distributors. This year more than 130 samples were submitted for participation in "Best Product" competition.
