Belarusian food producers participate in international expos in Kazakhstan


MINSK, 8 November (BelTA) - Belarusian manufacturers of foodstuffs and agricultural products are participating in international expos in Kazakhstan, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus.

The 15th Central-Asian international exhibition “Food Industry – WorldFood Kazakhstan-2012”, the 7th Central Asian International Exhibition “Agriculture – AgroWorld Kazakhstan 2012” and the 10th Kazakhstan International Expo “Packaging, containers, labels and polygraphy - KazUpack-2012T” are co-located at the Business Cooperation Center Atakent (Almaty) and are running from 6 through 9 November.

Taking part in the events are more than 400 companies from 30 countries, including Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, India, Canada, China, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, France, Czechia, Sweden, and the CIS states.

Belarus is represented by the Gomel Meat and Dairy Company, Krynitsa, Bobruisk Meat-Packing Plant, Verkhnedvinsk Creamery, KOMPO, Flexograph, AMIPACK.

Belarusian food and agriculture products are in high demand in the consumer market of Kazakhstan, which once again confirms the increased attention to the Belarusian manufacturers at the expos, the press service said.

The Belarusian producers are set to hold business meetings and negotiations with Kazakhstani partners, and take part in conferences and seminars.
